- Queer as Folk - Brit TV series 3/27/2000 10:25 PM well, why waste money to get a code free dvd player?, anyway, if u have a code free dvd player, u still need a multisystem TV to watch different region coded dvd video, ( trust me, check with the retailer who sell the code free dvd player, it wont work, it probably will cost you min 1500 to work on them) i own QAF dvd video region 2, but it work great on my PC. note ; u need a region free DVD rom, most DVD rom under 5x will do, and u need a software like power DVD version 2.5 and below, ( dont waste money to buy them, get a trial version for 30 days, or real hollywood plus, i just spend less than 50 bucks to have them work perfectly and connect to my TV (NTSC ot VCR)..no distration at all, forget abt macrovision, or have someone to modify ...
