  Actually, I've been signed by a talent agency recently. Only Asian guy in a sea of white guys: http://thevipconnect.com/maletalent-talent.php. So now what can I do to increase the chances of getting bookings? They say they're "rarely wrong" about talents, but is there a way I can help things, even while represented?

  As an aspiring male talent, I know that being represented by a legit agent is the biggest gatekeeping to overcome. I hit up those who usually represent male talents (e.g. Chad White, Logan Pierce, Bambino, Manuel Ferrera, Isiah Maxwell, etc. etc.), and I haven't heard back from any except LA Direct, with an "interview" that didn't go anywhere. So all the porn stars I've worked with for my own C4S site said, to get into porn as male talent: 1) get hard and stay hard, and 2) pop on command. Over the months, I've got those down; no anxiety whatsoever, whether it's shooting for my own C4S site or some other female talents' C4S sites. You're assuming that he's starting at a zero balance after the scene is shot/before it's released, but that may not be the case. Just to use a simple example, he may have used credit cards to pay for parts of the expenses, and the money coming back from selling the scene is what he uses to pay that off.   It's always been my dream, and I've even put my money where my mouth is by shooting my own scenes (AMWF niche). They've been profitable so far (I'm lucky to have a prior following from a non-porn avenue before this), but I can only afford to shoot one scene every 1.5 month or so. The only time a producer gave me a chance as a new face, I fucked it up by not getting hard.
