  Murdock makes the valid point that different countries have different tastes, making it difficult to properly quantify nastiness. However, valid as it is, it is essentially bollocks. When I first encountered porn I had the impression that the Germans and the Japanese were peculiarly kinky, but I've grown to learn that their pornography output is very diverse and we're simply not interested in their "straight" stuff.
