  Hey All, 5 years ago, we did extensive testing with our International customers, and found that although we could fit more we did experience problems with theft, customs intervention, imposed duties and taxes to our customers, delays, and damage DVD's.. We ship a maximum of 4 DVD's in the large Global Priority Mail envelope.. If an order contains 5, we will split in to 2 envelopes.. This has definitely maintained safe transit for the DVD's and cover art.. Although we still do experience the occasional damage DVD or customs issue, the success rate is still higher than 99%.. We have been asked in the past to change our policy, but with the success we experience now versus what we experienced before, it is really not feasible. Kind...

  Hello, That shipping method was removed due to high customs intervention in Germany.. The carrier that handles this mail requires a customs declaration, it took a little while but German customs finally got hold of them. We logged 38 missing envelopes during a 30 day period, out of those 24 customers actually rec'd letters from German Customs... Global Priority is still traveling well, 5-11 day transit reports..   Hello, I cannot respond to these messages directly due to the fact that I do not know the facts surrounding the individual cases. I can however give a general impression of our email handling. We have responded to all email rec'd up to 5/10/2002(with the exception of a few that need extra attention). We have responded to about 80% of the email rec'd this past weekend(5/11-13/2002). We do receive a lot of email(an average of 111 a day), which we scan through all several times daily to look for immediate issue(changes to orders, cancellations, etc.) to handle first, the remainder are handled in order of receipt and are generally responded to within 2 business days(most on the same day rec'd). We would prefer that our customers are enjoying their purchase, and it would also keep the administrative cost down if we do not have to manage a lot of backorders.   Hello spesedy, Welcome to ADT! At this time we handle all our international shipment the same, regardless of the destination country. Although we still cannot guarantee shipping to our International Customers, we have experienced great success shipping through UK Customs (who handles Germany's customs as well I believe) in the last 2 months. We have had 1 reported loss through customs, which put us at less than 1/4 of 1% loss rate. I would still be much more satisfied with 100%, but we cant seem to guard against random checks.
