There always will be pros and cons as far as rentals versus ownership. Streaming and downloading movies is a new way to rent, its sort of like a cable version of pay-per-view, but better. Once you downloaded a file, you can watch it as youre pleased for a certain period of time. Whether or not you can watch the file from a different computer or burn it on a CD depends on a provider. Once download is started, you have a choice of completing it in one shot or pausing and restoring it as many times as you like until the download is complete.
