Ah, the halcyon days of VCA features. How I miss them. As is typical for the movies I've seen from that not-long-ago era, Fountain of Innocence is a beautiful multi-camera production, attractively lit, skillfully edited, and boasting excellent sound that's enhanced by carefully selected music. The views of the sex are explicit yet pretty. The costumes are a hoot: the perfect swizzle of elegance and tackiness, just right for a porno about a porno. Ron Jeremy stars as a director who's taping History of the Sex World: Part 2. Taren Steele plays an aspiring actress who's about to perform for the first time. Our nervous heroine receives friendly advice and reassurance from a trio of hot blonde veterans: Juli Ashton, Shayla LaVeaux, and Nina Hartley. The conversational flow is pleasingly uncontrived. It sounds as though the performers are discussing their real and very positive experiences in the industry. It all leads to a happy heap of flesh by the swimming pool. [read the full review]

License to Bed is a compilation disc of 20 scenes featuring 17 female performers in strictly one-on-one boy-girl action. There is, however, an over-arching theme that seems to have driven the selection an emphasis on the romantic. In general the couples depicted here are, one is led to suppose, in love. This is a disc therefore that is heavily weighted on the couple-friendly side of things. Like the first in this series, Female Orgasms 2 is non-stop female climaxing. There's likely to be something for everyone featured in the 60 scenes contained (over 2 hours in its entirety). Extras include a somewhat silly promo and some pictorials. For those tired of the same old scenes that end with male ejaculation, this one is for you. Another item to appreciate is that the sounds of the women aren't drowned out by goofy music (I continue to ask, who's stupid idea was it to start doing that?!). The only disappointment is that the scenes are quite short. There are times when the women in some portions are still at the peak of their excitement (about to cum again) when the scene suddenly ends. To the editors, I say KEEP IT GOING! We wanna see a girl cumming until she's passed out, crying, or begging to stop. Bottom line: Those seeking a story line, male action, or lengthy scenes...keep looking. Those who enjoy seeing women losing control and expressions of pure ecstasy, this is a must have. [read the full review]
