It's high-speed, crash-'em-up car chases, illegal activity, and plenty of hot fucking when an innocent bystander, Phaedra Grant, incidentally encounters both the "West Side Rapist", Jon Martin, and a cooler-than-you cop, John Leslie, in "Intimate Illusions" (a.k.a. "Boiling Point"). An overall-good, 1978 release from director Paul Levis and the Alpha Blue Archives, this flick starts out for all the world looking like it's going to have an exceptional plot...the car chases, character development, intertwined storylines, etc. ... but then, somewhat randomly, gives it all up midway through and wraps everything with a massive orgy at a disco. (???)
