Searching through his long-deceased father's tool box, a young man (Tyler Nixon) stumbles upon photos of his dad (Some Dude) and a beautiful woman (jessica drake) other than his mother. Curious, the lad sets out on a bus to New York City upon his 18th birthday to seek out the mystery woman, and what he ultimately uncovers is equal parts nostalgic, cathartic, and carnal. Such is the case in "Aftermath", one of the finest features to have come along in years and yet another feather in the cap of Wicked Pictures' premiere director, Brad Armstrong.

Brad Armstrong has turned into a fantastic director shooting films for Wicked. In his latest release, Tyler Nixon receives a gift from his mother that was his dad's pride and joy. His father died years earlier, so this gift is special to Tyler. Because of the gift, he found out some secrets of his father's past, specifically a mistress he had, and he goes in search of her. Jessica Drake plays the other woman and Brandi Love plays his mother. Good casting and I'm eagerly anticipating this release.

The new big event movie from director Brad Armstrong takes us to a story that leaves behind the special effects and instead lets the characters dry the story. jessica drake is a great performer to have when you want to take that approach with your picture and she is joined by Tyler Nixon who is young in stature but delivers big time in this performance. The subject matter will be controversial for sure as you finish watching the entire movie and the ending will most definitely generate discussion.

Brad Armstrong's Aftermath fires on all cylinders with a great emotional backbone, fantastic performances from jessica drake and Tyler Nixon, great camera work and editing, and plenty of passionate sex. This one is definitely worth the purchase and should be plenty of love come award season.
