David Stanley turns out a fantastic adult feature here that's reminiscent of features from the golden age of porn. With a well written story that's not quite linear, a great eye behind the camera, and fantastic performances from Randy Spears, Sasha Grey, and Nina Hartley, the story portions of the movie just might be more compelling than the sex scenes, which are normally short but full of chemistry. The technical aspects are very well done for the movie and the extras show a little effort to help out the overall DVD. This release isn't going to be for everybody due to its style, but it's a very well made movie that shows why David Stanley deserved to get a lot more credit for his work than he ever seemed to receive. David Stanley does every bit as good of a job playing the head of the hillbilly family in front of the camera as he does directing the movie behind it, and Carmen Hart does a great job both acting and fucking. It works largely due to the great job the cast does with the script, but sadly the sex holds the movie back a bit. It's consistent but extremely average and always left me wanting more. The extras are nicely done and show the same nice effort one can't help but expect with a Wicked DVD.
