Review brief: Innocence: Candy Girl Studio: Ninn Worx Director: Halle Vanderhyden Year: 2003 Feature Time: 1:52:41 Extras: Behind the Scenes and Trailers (0:41:49) Starring: August (Cover Girl) Loni Pason (as Red Heaven) Amytheist Stone Holly Hollywood Themes: Feature, Artistic 2-Disc Set "Innocence: Candy Girl" is the one and only movie I've seen from the studio Ninn Worx. They're apparently known for their artistic take on pornography. The "Innocence" movies are filmed against an empty white background (I guess to symbolically represent innocence). It's a very stylized, romantic, dream-like way to shoot, very different than typical Red Light District style gonzo. The director Halle Vanderhyden seems to do porn for the MTV generation, with dozens and dozens of quick cuts and edits in every scene. For some this may be disorienting, as it's tough to focus on one specific thing while the camera is jumping around so much.
