Review brief: This is a big budget adventure on the high seas. The girls are all gorgeous, but the action is a little slow for my taste. Likely to appeal to couples and people who like big budget films.

Review brief: Title: Conquest: Special Collectors Edition Released by: Wicked Pictures Normally you dont hear "adult film" and "special collectors edition" together in the same DVD. But the folks at Wicked Pictures brought the two together quite well. Ok, lets start with the movie. This is a movie about pirates that actually uses a REAL ship. Were not talking the set of a ship or an elaborate mock-up with a green-screen ocean. Im sure that set producers back quite a bit, which probably also explained why they only used ONE ship. Period costumes, period weapons, and some attempts at period language. Now without even watching the opening credits, I knew that this was an Adam & Eve production, even if it was released by Wicked Pictures. How do I know, you ask? Because of the excessive use of slow motion, especially during the sex scenes. Well fortunately they dont go overboard as they did with some other movies ("Caribbean Undercover" comes to mind). (Repeat after me: sex plus slow motion equal BORING!) There IS a story in this movie.

Review brief: The Little Details Running Time: 73 min. Production Date: 11 / 26 / 1995 Director: Brad Armstrong and Greg Steelberg Cast: Jenna Jameson. Ashley Renee, Jill Kelly, Serenity, Nici Sterling, Rebecca Lord, Brad Armstrong, Vince Voyeur, Mark Davis, and Steven St. Croix The Short Story Initial Expectations: Wicked has been doing an excellent job on their Jenna DVDs lately. Im really looking forward to this one! Initial Reaction: Its pretty good, especially for its short length. Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting a couples movie with a bit of plot and variety minus anal Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting the artistic side of Brad Armstrong and the plot-free side of Jenna The Technical Stuff Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very good for the age of the feature. The audio is nicely balanced and clear throughout the feature, but you can hear a few directions being given to the cast in the all girl scene. The video has a soft feel, and is very nicely lit.

Review brief: Description This is a collector's edition release of the 1996 Jenna Jameson movie Conquest. I didn't see the original version, but this one has added extra features. General Impression It's fun to watch, the sort of swashbuckling pirate adventure that they used to show on Saturdays at the elementary school auditorium when I was a kid. Well, not quite! This one has less plot and more sex. They spent a lot of money on this movie, and it shows. But they weren't too careful about historical accuracy. That's okay, though. Part of the fun of the movie is giggling over the I Dream of Jeannie hair and fake eyelashes, the shaved pussies, the shiny hair scrunchy, the thong tan lines, and so forth. The plot is going to lose you a bit at first -- not because it is complicated, but because quite a bit of the dialogue is mumbled or at low volume, and the characters speak of several people without any explanation of who they are talking about.

Review brief: Description This is a 1995 feature with Jenna Jameson. She plays a phone sex operator who overhears a murder over the phone, thus becoming a target for the hitmen. General Impressions The plot is full of holes, in a quirky, entertaining way. Jenna is cute and fluffy in her miniskirt and go-go boots. There's a strong emphasis on blowjobs here, and the popshots are nicely made mostly into the girls' mouths rather than all over tarnation. Sex Scenes As we begin the movie, Jenna is being eaten out from behind by Brad as she leans against a stylish glass block wall. The slightly dizzying camera angles and disorienting music fade into relative normalcy as she sucks his dick. She squeals a few times in doggie and mish, and right after the facial we learn that this is all a dual fantasy between Brad and his phone sex girl, Jenna. He asks her to hold on for a minute as Steven and Mark enter his office. She hears the ensuing interrogation of Brad about 'where the paintings are,' and a gunshot.

Review brief: Lip Service - Wicked Pictures Date of Production- 11/26/95 Director-Brad Armstrong and Greg Steel This is one of Jenna Jamesons early movies which was just released this past November on DVD. The movie is about Jenna Jameson who plays a phone sex operator who overhears a murder over the phone and the two hitmen which are Steven St.Croix and Mark Davis know she overheard the murder and plan to capture her. The first scene is a fantasy scene while Jenna is talking phone sex with Brad Armstrong. Jenna and Brad Armstrong have had many scenes togehter as they were actually married for a while, this may not be one of their best scenes togehter but Jenna gives a hot blowjob and features doggy and missionary positions before we get another Armstrong on Jenna facial. Scene Two: Jenna returns home from work to her boyfriend Vince Voyuer.

Review brief: Okay let us assume that you (and your partner) never watched a porno. You finally decided to watch one but already your facing the next problem. In this wide range of porn-films, which film could be the ideal movie to get a taste of some real sexual excitement and which film would not shock him / her too much when watching other (beautiful) people having sex? From my own experience I would say: Dont look any further as you just found it. Wicked Pictures made a movie which is without doubt one of the best couples movies. The sex is first class, beautifully brought to you by two directors who know what you like to see and sex done by performers who love what they are doing: having sex! When you see this film for the very first time you will immediately notice the great editing done here as this production can absolutely compete with Penthouse and Playboy. (these soft-sex Mystique / Cameo series etc.) The music and sound are very good, so is the lighting: intensity and brightness are just right, not too little not too much.

Review brief: Running Time: 69 min. Production Date: 1 / 17 / 1997 Director: Greg Steel Cast: Serenity, Shayla LaVeaux, Sindee Coxx, Anna Malle, Vince Voyeur, Kyle Stone, Hank Armstrong, Alex Sanders, and Anthony Crane in a non-sex role Initial Expectations: I think Serenity is one of the most talented females in the adult industry, which normally gives me quite a bit of hope for her features, especially with the high quality DVDs Wickeds been turning out lately. Initial Reaction: Its nothing you havent seen before, but its still well done. Who Should Watch It : Anybody who likes a little plot with their porn Who Should Avoid It: Anybody looking for a lot of nasty sex Audio /Video Quality: The audio is very clear and well balanced, especially for a feature that was shot before DVD was around. The video is pretty good, but does have a little grain and some shadow problems. Theres also a fairly long cut where you can see some of one of the cameramen on the side of the screen.

Review brief: Running Time: 85 min. Production Date: 7 / 15 / 1995 Director: Brad Armstrong and Greg Steele Cast: Jenna Jameson, Tiffany Million, Jill Kelly, Channone, Patrica Kennedy, Jon Dough, Mark Davis, Peter North, Tom Byron, and Tony Tedeschi Initial Expectations: For some reason Im not expecting too much out of this one and I dont really know why. Initial Reaction: Its very well done and a good reason why Jenna started getting so much attention. Who Should Watch It : Fans of Jenna or anybody else curious about her, anybody who likes a psychological thriller and porn Who Should Avoid It: Anybody looking for extremely hardcore sex Audio /Video Quality: The audio sounds very good and is normally very nicely balanced. There is a time or two when it sounds like theyre some obvious backstage noise, such as things clanging, but Im honestly not sure if theyre noise, part of the music, or part of the feature. The video shows some age, and has a little grain to it.

Review brief: Running Time: 80 min. Production Date: 2 / 4 / 1996 Director: Brad Armstrong and Greg Steele Cast: Jenna Jameson, Jeanna Fine, Missy, Channone, Vince Voyeur, Peter North, Bobby Vitale, Mark Davis, Mike Horner, Brad Armstrong, Anthony Crane, and Claudio Initial Expectations: I really like Wickeds DVDs but I dont think a lot of Jennas movies quite live up to her hype. Although not quite up to her hype, theyve still been better than the average adult film. Initial Reaction: I now remember why Jenna has such a devoted following. Who Should Watch It : Fans of Brad Armstrongs movies, Jenna Jameson, Jeanna Fine, and well made adult films. Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who doesnt want to be bothered by that plot stuff. Audio /Video Quality: The audio is very clear throughout the entire movie. Most of the video is clear except for the first full sex scene. The focus seems slightly off through most of that scene but this could have partially been from shooting through the mesh hanging around the bed.

Review brief: Running Time: 73 min. Production Date: Director: Brad Armstrong and Greg Steele Cast: Jenna Jameson, Jeanna Fine, Liza Harper, Julie Rage, Nico Treasures, Sofia Ferrari, Lovette, Mark Davis, Vince Voyeur, Peter North, and Mike Horner Initial Expectations: Brad Armstrong seems to make a great movie no matter whos in it and Wicked normally makes a great DVD. I cant help but look forward to this DVD. Initial Reaction: Its okay but nothing too special. Audio /Video Quality: Both live up to the high expectations Ive grown to have from Wicked. The audio is very clear and well balanced. The video is also clear as a bell. Although Pure is only five years old, this appears to be a significant amount of time for most studios. Pure looks and sounds better than most adult films that are produced today. Music: As can be expected from Brad Armstrong, the music varies according to the scene. It ranges from a few techno-style songs, one of which really reminded me of Enigma, to some very funky music.

Overall: I do not know why they bothered to have a plot in this video. It would have been better to film unrelated sexual vignettes instead of having a loose plot structure. The sex was lukewarm. . .not able to boil. It was too bland for my tastes.  There are better Wicked DVD releases out there.  DVD Quality: For a film produced in 1996, the video quality is good. The audio is okay. Extras: The extras are good. The audio bios impressed me very much. LIKES: Jenna Jameson in the black wig in the finale.  DISLIKES:

Review brief: Running Time: 72 min. Production Date: 9 / 15 / 1995 Director: Brad Armstrong & Greg Steelberg (Greg Steele) Cast: Jill Kelly, Nici Sterling, Jeanna Fine, Liza Harper, Steven St. Croix, Brad Armstrong, Brick Majors, Anthony Crane, Danny Dallas, Jeff Chazz, and Paul Hug Initial Expectations: I have fairly high expectations as its a Brad Armstrong feature. Jill Kelly and Nici Sterling dont hurt anything either. Initial Reaction: Its well done, but nothing special. Audio /Video Quality: For the age of the movie, both are excellent! Its not that common that new features come out looking this good. There are still a few flaws, such as a little grain to the picture during some of the movie, but thats about it. The audio is very clear and doesnt have any outdoor noise. Music: The music is well balanced and extremely varied. The music from the first scene Ive heard in other features, and the second scene is an 80s style rock song with lyrics.

Review brief: There is no question in my mind that Jenna Jameson epitomizes the prototypical porn babe: blonde, flashy, curvy and with a eye-popping, healthy chest courtesy of Dow Corning, it's easy to see why she has become America's hardcore sweetheart. However, I will admit that with the exception of her earliest appearances in Old Man Randy West's UP AND CUMMER series (in particular the previously reviewed UP AND CUMMERS #11, where she is, in the words of Robert Palmer, "simply irresistable"), I have not exactly been a member of her fan following. To me, she just doesn't have the appeal of a Ginger Lynn, Nikki Dial, or even Ashlyn Gere, to name a few undisputed legends of porn. And her 1995 starring role in THE WICKED ONE does nothing to change my mind. Beginning with an opening scream and scrawled warning, "Don't fuck with Jenna" on the DVD's menu, this release from Wicked is a fairly good porn package, and co-stars some overlooked favorites like Tiffany Million and Channone, as well as present-day superstars like Jill Kelly.
