Review brief: This is nothing short of an amazing adult feature film. From fantastic performances by Lily Carter and Lily LaBeau to amazing camera work, editing, and writing, this is one of the best movies to come out of 2012. Add in a full disc of extras that are every bit as solid and you have an adult release that deserves not just to be rented or watched, but to be purchased.

Review brief: It's been five long years since she's seen her high school best friend (Lily Labeau), when Lily Carter's ragtag bus pulls into Los Angeles. Polar opposites from the onset, Carter arrives to find her one-time bestie now a hollow shadow of her former self. Consumed with the harsh L.A. reality and all of its materialistic trappings, Labeau's jaded existence is characterized by dashed dreams, anonymous and meaningless sex, and her work in an area sex club. As the dramatic offerings play out, it turns out that Carter herself is also suffering from her own serious issues--namely the imminent loss of her grandmother and an overwhelming fear of being alone. Indeed, this film from Elegant Angel and director Graham Travis--"Wasteland"--is aptly titled, as it's a metaphor for not only the city itself but for both Carter and Labeau, as well...each in her own distinct way.

Review brief: Elegant Angel and Graham Travis release a marvelous feature length picture annually and this year’s entry is Wasteland. I saw his Portrait of a Call Girl last year and it was a marvelous adult film, both in the storyline and in the sex. Wasteland stars Lily Labeau and Lily Carter as two old high school friends who lost touch with each other over the years. This is a 2-disk feature with Disk 1 containing the full length movie, clocking in at just under 2 hours. The sex scenes are shorter during the movie but one of the extras on disk 2 is the full length sex scenes. The action I describe below is the extended scenes.

Review brief: A new story from the award winning director Graham Travis which builds on the success of Portrait of a Call Girl released last year. This new story centers on the lives of two girls played beautifully by Lily Carter and Lily Labeau who were high school friends that drifted apart but are now brought back together when Lily C shows up in LA for a visit. There is a story and a reason for her coming which is brought out over the course of the nearly two hour movie. It features a couple really good and powerful dialogue scenes with the two Lily's who own this movie but especially when the action/ story goes back to Lily Labeaus apartment for an extended time about half way into the picture. Besides the great acting by the two leads you get great music mixed in too which greatly helped in the story telling. A second disc to this release offers up extended sex scenes which were cut short for the main feature. Some great interviews too with the two Lily's as well as Graham Travis. Recommended.

Review brief: This is an amazing feature. From the writing to the camera work to the performances, both sexual and non-sexual, this release amazed me. Jessie Andrews turns in the performance of a lifetime, and had me in awe from start to finish. Add in fantastic technical aspects and good effort towards the extras, and this easily comes out as one of the best releases of 2011.

Review brief: Elegant Angel presents a different scenario for them, a full length feature film that stars Jessie Andrews as Elle, a call girl who is trying to find herself. Just from the opening credits with the dark and brooding music, one could tell that this was going to be an emotional and realistic film. Directed by Graham Travis, Jessie is at her best in this one. Her acting is top of the line and she might have a future in mainstream. She conveys innocence, yet a maturity beyond her years, having been a call girl since a young age.

Review brief: "Portrait of a Call Girl" is an exceptional feature from Graham Travis and Elegant Angel that tells the tale of a call girl played by Jessie Andrews. In what may well be a career-making role for Jessie, this release is really something quite unique in the world of adult films. Not only is the plot realistic--and complex--it also successfully conveys a variety of moods and emotional scenarios that play out seamlessly in heading toward its ultimate goals. Jessie plays her part to perfection--with a certain innocence and decency that also mask a far more troubled interior--and she delivers intensely in a sexual sense, as well. By all accounts, this is something special--in a very good way.

Review brief: A new film from Elegant Angel and writer/ director Graham Travis. This story is about a young girl who comes to the big city from the desert and like so many she has an intriguing back story that unfolds as the movie plays. Jessie Andrews is in the title role and has pretty much the entire movie to carry as there are no other strong female leads and all the males are her johns some leading to good experiences and others to bad. Jessie also starts seeing a therapist and it is during those sessions that the movie tells this tale of how Jessie got into this life and how she might get out of it or might not. The movies end doesn't really give you that final detail but you do have a better feel for Jessie as a character and how her life might progress after she's done these sessions and settled one big score from her past that we learn she played a big part in causing. Heavy dialogue in parts and Jessie really has to carry the show which she does and will receive some recognition come Jan.

Review brief: It seems that a demented eugenics programs from World War II Germany resulted in the creation of some super-humans, called Meta-Humans. In the modern age, these mutants and their descendants can do all sorts of things. Some of them, (portrayed by Tori Black, Asa Akira, Kristina Rose and Sadie West) can kick ass and fuck pretty good as well.

Review brief: I've had this title for awhile and I don't know I'm just not into domination stuff I guess, not at least to the degree this one goes. The slapping and hair pulling I know is part of the deal with this type of scene but when the girls practically crying in pain like Tory Lane was at times in her scene with Mark Davis I was about as far from turned on as I could get. Only her naked body kept me watching. The whole dynamic of the girl submitting herself so thoroughly to her guys every whim is hard to do. Katsumi is more reserved in her scene with Mark Davis and the domination by him just seemed like a huge ego stroke to him while Katsumi was just a vessel for him to work his aggressions out on. There were times in Katsumi's scene where I felt she was close to equal footing but mostly it was Mark's power trip. Now Tory is way more outward with her expressions so you get the vocalization and she bites her nipples real hard while being fucked in mish. And I never like seeing a mans's hand go around a woman's throat in a choking fashion.

Review brief: [For a more detailed review, please read astroknights well written review.] Director: Graham Travis Running time: 2:02 Cast listing: Scene 1 Tiffany Mynx (anal, squirting) with Manuel Ferrara Scene 2 Katsumi (anal) with Mark Davis Scene 3 Adrianna Nicole (solo masturbation, anal) Scene 4 Tory Lane (anal) with Mark Davis Scene 5 Kimberly Kane with Steven St. Croix Scene 6 Venus (anal) with Sascha My very short review: Slave Dolls 2 is a porno featuring 6 vignette-style scenes featuring some top-shelf talent in Tiffany, Katsumi, Tory, and Venus. In each and every scene except Adriannas scene, the chemistry between the performers is very strong. There is a lot of rough play in each scene and it includes slapping, spitting, gagging, choking, and hard fucking. And I mean hard, Tory and Venus each get an anal drilling that was eye-opening. The Tiffany/Manuel scene gets the porno off on a great start and it was as hot as it gets in a boy/girl scene. Tiffany gets off a few times and the scene had a strong feel of the performers not wanting the scene to end.

Production Date: 6 / 12 / 2006 Director: Graham Travis Cast: Adrianna Nicole, Katsumi, Kimberly Kane, Tiffany Mynx, Tory Lane, Venus, Manuel Ferrara, Mark Davis, Sascha, and Steven St. Croix The Short Story Initial Expectations: Graham Travis has put together a great cast for his directorial debut, and Elegant Angel has shown a nice eye for fresh talent behind the camera.
