Review brief: Directed by General Stone, TRAINING DAY: A PLEASURE DYNASTY PARODY (2011, Blue Ribbon Films/Pleasure Dynasty) switches gender for the lead roles in this parody of the Denzel Washington vehicle from 2001. Here is a review of this 2 disc set.

Review brief: Here we have a porn take on the classic Martin Scorcese film Taxi Driver which you might not think immediately screams parody but trust me they treat the original source material with care only making a few slight alterations but keeping the story moving smoothly along. The sex is good with a couple of the scenes already made for porn- the cab scene to start the movie and later on the cheating wife who fucks the black man. You add in an underage prostitute played here by Jessie Andrews and you have another scene plus the scene in the porn theater that Travis goes into and finally Travis and Betsy come together as they do in the original movie but here do a bit more than make eyes at each other before the fade out. Lots of nods to the movie can be spotted throughout this production from the music to the costumes and the dialogue as well. A strong recommendation for purchase if you liked the original version.

Review brief: A new parody that takes on the early 2000's movie featuring Denzel Washington that won him an Oscar and that also featured Ethan Hawke. Well here those roles are taken on by females, Nyomi and Chanel who both do well as these characters. This training day is designed to see if Chanel has what it takes to become a full time narc officer and it is up to Nyomi to find that out. We know she's got her own agenda that she's trying to fulfill and Chanel will either play a part in it or be pushed aside. Some good sex here for all involved including a 3 way g/g/g scene with Nyomi, Chanel and adding in Yurizan Beltran. You also have Phoenix Marie in the finale adding anal to her scene. One b/g scene each for Nyomi and Chanel plus a 3 man blow bang for Tara Lynn Foxx. All told a solid parody worth checking out.

Review brief: "Taxi Driver: A XXX Parody" is an exceptional feature from director General Stone and Pleasure Dynasty Films that, of course, parodies the mainstream classic of the same title. In this feature, Tommy Pistol takes on the role of a cab driver who becomes exceedingly disenchanted with the corruption that he finds in the world around himself. This unease grows and festers in him until, ultimately, he has no choice but to take matters into his own hands in a decidedly bloody way. Despite the dreary--though very well orchestrated--subject matter, this one still manages to dish out the steamy sex...which is an essential element in any adult film.

Review brief: Some would say that that the movie Reservoir Dogs deserves is a cult classic. It may very well be. As for myself, I thought it was an interesting movie, and yet, I'm not surprised that it would become the focus of a porn parody. But wait, here's the twist, it's features a gang of ladies, such as Andy San Dimas, Kimberly Kane and Chanel Preston.

Review brief: Here we have a new parody of the classic Quentin Tarantino 1990's flick Reservoir Dogs and there has been on important change here and that's the main characters being portrayed by females which helped certainly in incorporating sex into the story which I have to say was most faithful to the Hollywood version of the film. They even structure the movie as Quentin did which is quite unlike most movies which start from a beginning and go to an end. Andy San Dimas gets the Harvey Keitel role, Kimberly Kane is Steve Buscemi, Chanel Preston is Tim Roth, Raylene is Chris Penn and Lizzy Borden gets the Michael Madsen role complete with the classic Stealers Wheel scene! You will see tons of nods to the movie in this parody from the dialogue to the sets to the outfits. A very faithful take on one of Quentin's best movies and is well worth checking out.
