Stars: Sofie, Sofia, Marva, Maxi, Abril, Maria, Nacho, Julian, taware, Sheina and Carmelito
Running time: 1:33 (feature) and 0:22 (bonus)
Even though it seems like there are about 1 million she-males in the world and they're all making porn, even with the advances in the plastic surgery and hormone treatments, good-looking transsexuals are still hard to find. Some just look like guys in drag—others look like some sort of unhappy mixture that doesn't gel properly in either direction.
Tempting Trannies presents some of the good looking ones. Eleven performers in six scenes (Sofia appears twice) in a nice mix of situations. The first scene has two trannies, Sofie and Carmelito. Three scenes (Marva and Maxi, Tware and Nacho, and Sofia and Julian) are she-males with guys. The last two scenes (and I'm including the bonus) are Maria and Sheina and Sofia and Abril—she-males and girls. So there should be something for everybody. There's no dumb plot, just straight sex in a variety of positions.
Special Features include the 20 minute extra scene between Sofia and Abril, a collection of money shots, and one of the better photo galleries I've seen.
Production values: The audio is okay and there's no annoying music, but I hate the camera work. It's all hand-held camera work, which is fine except this is so shaky and jittery that it looks like it was shot by Katherine Hepburn at age 90. A circus performer balancing the camera on the end of a long pole while he rode around on a unicycle could get a steadier picture. Seriously, I turned this thing off several times because I was getting motion sickness. That's how bad it is.
The video is so-so. It says it's mastered in HD but I don't think it was shot that way. The video is acceptable on my television but looks like crap on my computer. Some scenes like Taware and Nacho look pretty good, but Marva and Maxi's scene looks muddy and soft-focused. And not in a dreamy, romantic way—in a cheap, slap-dash way.
Final verdict: This is one of those rare titles that really pissed me off because it should have been good. It could have been good, but the shaky-camera work is so distracting and miserable to watch that it ruins would have otherwise been some good scenes with attractive she-males. If you like hand-held video shot by someone who probably drank 20 cups of coffee that morning, go ahead and give it a try. I'd rather watch something that doesn't make me dizzy.
