God, I feel old. I remember when this movie came out back in 1989, and now it is being re-released under the Cal Vista/VCX line. I remember wanting to buy this some 19 years ago, but for some reason never got around to it, there was always something else that looked more appetizing. Needless to say, I was beyond eager to shove this number into my DVD play and see what I had missed the first time around…

…Its now one hour or so later, and now I relize why the period between 1984 and 1995 or so is the dark ages of porn. This movie should have stayed unreleased on DVD, because the video quality is the same as a VCR tape which has been laying around for a decade or so. I wanted to reach for the tracking button as it was so fuzzy. In addition, all the performers looked orange on my screen. At least for me, I have a hard time getting off when the performers look like Umpa Lumpas. The acting also left a lot to be desired, with awful fake southern accents and prose which a middle school play could beat.
The only highlight of the film was the lesbian scene with Barbara Dare and Nina Harley. Which, despite the color and contrasting issues mentioned above, still packed a lot of heat, with two girls who know how to get a girl off. They also where the only two decent actors involved.
In the end, watching this was almost like finding out Santa Clause was not real. However, don’t let this review turn you off from the other classics in the Cal Vista/VCX line. There are a lot of great movies there, of which I will be reviewing a few more shortly. This was a bad movie back in 1989, and there really was no way to make it better.
