The case of this DVD yields few clues as to what lies within. All the viewer has to go on is the title of the event, and a listing of the extras. There is not summary of the plot to be found. Also, the photos on the case are non- explicit, so the viewer has no idea what to expect.
The Main Event
I was mislead by the name of this movie. I expected the typical Black Widow theme, woman mates and then kills her mate. In truth, she never kills anyone. The plot is weak at best, and at times doesn't make much sense. They wrap up the lose ends during the final scene, but there just isn't much there. The guys playing the cops give poor performances, making it obvious they weren't hired for their line delivery. The movie has seven scenes in all, a mix of female/female, male/female, and a foursome where three are females. Of all the actors, Jenna Jameson gives an eager performance, but the rest of the women seem to be a bit flat and uninterested. I found my interest drifting during the movie. I also didn't like the number of fake tits in the movie, most of the women had them. Personally, I prefer natural.
The video was grainy and distracting. Otherwise, the camera work was average. During later scenes, the whole picture moved up and down, as if the camera was mounted on a boat. It was a bit disconcerting.
Audio was good, nothing out of the ordinary to note. The music volume was fine, never overriding the dialogue.
For a recent production, the lack of condom use was disappointing. This is also the first porn movie I've seen where it went straight in to the movie, bypassing the main menu. Pressing menu on the remote brought it up, however. Once there, there were a couple of extra features. Of course, there is the usual "Jump to a Scene". There is a "Photo Gallery" which is an automatic slide show of still shots set to music. Five trailers make up the "Future DVD Releases" feature. There is a "Wild Nymphettes" section, which has four scenes, each one focused around a particular female, some of which aren't even in this movie. How and why they were selected over performers in the movie isn't clear. Lastly, there is the "Web Site" which is just a graphic which shows the URL. It has no interactive features for viewers with a DVD-ROM drive on their computer.
All in all this is an average disc. It has some interesting extras, but they do little to make up for the lack luster main feature. If you are a fan of Jenna Jameson, pick it up, otherwise, rent rather than buy.
