Review:
“Romeo and Juliet” by Lee Roy Meyers puts a modern—and erotic—spin on the William Shakespeare classic of the same title in this very good, couples-friendly release from DreamZone Entertainment. Interestingly, the Montagues and the Capulets both deal in automotives in this production—with the former’s garage being the backdrop for some of the key plot sequences in the film. Romeo is played by Rocco Reed, Juliet by Chanel Preston, and Tybalt by Anthony Rosano…all of whom are strong on the acting end of things. Not only are the main characters represented well, but the storyline also features many of the key elements found in the original play, linked together via a unique blend of modern-day English and lines from Shakespeare’s work. While officially deemed a “parody”, this is really quite the serious and romantic tragedy—much like the source material—and not so much of a comedy. Keeping with this tone, the sex is all quite passionate and emotion-driven, and this drives the various sex scenes in a way that isn’t often seen in standard adult fare.

In terms of the sex, Scene One involves a confused Chanel Preston (Juliet) being consoled by her best friend, played by Anne Marie Rios, in the way only she can—sexually. This very good encounter is sensual and involves plenty of making out, fingers, and tongues prior to closing out. In Scene Two, Andy San Dimas (playing the role of Romeo’s ex-girlfriend, Rosalyn) gets it on with Romeo’s arch-rival, Tybalt (played by Anthony Rosano). This excellent romp is both erotic and libidinous, as it features some sexy blowjob and hand-job work by Andy along with a handful of arousing vaginal positions. A pop-shot to Ms. San Dimas’ bush and pelvis closes out this fine affair.

Scene Three involves a passionate tryst between Chanel (Juliet) and Rocco (Romeo) in her bedroom. The oral and vaginal action presented here are quite sexy, and this one closes out with a cum-shot delivered to Chanel’s chest, tummy, and pelvis—hot stuff! In Scene Four, the head of the Capulet clan (Tom Byron) and his Lady (India Summer) escape the sadness of Chanel’s relationship with Rocco and the loss of Tybalt (Anthony) with an erotic fuck on a black leather sofa. The blowjob / hand-job work in this one is worthy, as are the various vaginal positions employed by the pair. Tom drops a load on India’s ass and back to cap off this excellent endeavor—nice!

Bonus-wise, there’s a lengthy and cool “Behind the Scenes” segment, some “Outtakes”, a “Crying on Camera” featurette, and a choice of four “Trailers”. There’s also a “Friendly (non-sex) Version” of the movie and a “Photo Gallery” (a slideshow of “pretty-girl” shots and stills from the production). Finally, there are some advertisements in the form of “Phone Fun”, “Free DVD Offer”, and “More Fun” choices.

All in all, this two-disc set is a very good one with strong couples’ appeal, solid acting, and a unique take on arguably Shakespeare’s most famous work. The sex is also generally excellent—though more so for its passion and heat than its uniqueness—and the production values are high-end. For the right audience, this one is worthy.
