Running Time: 70 min.

Production Date: 1991

Director: Herschel Savage

Cast: Deidre Holland, Charisma, Kim Alexis, Ona Z, Jon Dough, Mike Horner, and Ron Jeremy

Initial Expectations: All I needed to see to know I had to see this one was Ron Jeremy as Uncle Fester.

Initial Reaction: It’s a fun piece of fluff, but nothing too great.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody who misses porn from ten years ago

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants implants or very high technical aspects

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is clear, but occasionally a bit out of balance. The video doesn’t hide its age quite as well, and looks about as good as I’d imagine the original VHS did. It’s well lit, but it’s a little fuzzy, has a few remnants, and there’s a slightly off-colored line along the left edge of the screen. It’s not great, but for a movie that’s over ten years old, it isn’t anything to complain about.

Music: The music varies a fair amount, and is normally well balanced with the rest of the audio. The range goes from some of Bach’s organ music to your typical porn music, and even works in a little that’s similar to the theme from the old TV show that inspired this movie.

Menus: The menus are pretty simple, and not nearly as complex as the menus in Wicked’s premium releases (which isn’t any surprise with the price difference here). The main menu has a clip of the movie mixed with the box cover, while the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of the scene and a chapter number.

The Feature: When Cortez Maddam’s munition factory stocks plummet due to the outbreak of peace through the word, they have to come up with a new way of getting money so they don’t have to interact with the regular people of the world. They decide to open a whorehouse, with Horticia as the Madam and Cousin Tit and Horticia’s niece Tuesday working there.

After she speaks French, Cortez (Mike Horner) and Horticia (Ona Zee) head to the bedroom for him to ravage her. Ona continues to work a little French in as Mike eats her pussy, and then Frenches his cock as he lies back on the bed. They work through missionary, spoon, and doggie before Mike blows on Ona’s butt. It’s a pretty average scene in almost every way.

Horticia’s eighteen year old niece Tuesday (Kim Alexis) gets a lesson from Cousin Tit (Charisma) in the next scene. Kim starts out sucking on Charisma’s mammoth mammaries before dropping down to tongue her twat. Kim strips down to show Charisma her own set of mammoth mams, and sucks on her tits while Charisma eats her pussy. Sadly, that’s it for the scene. They go back and forth once and then say they’re done. It’s a very disappointing scene even though Kim looks like she can put on one heck of a show. It’s not completely worthless since Kim does do a great job of acting girlie and squealing a lot, which does make it amusing.

Uncle Pester (Ron Jeremy) poses as a client to test Cousin Tit (Charisma). Charisma has Ron suck and squeeze her tits, and teaches him how to squeeze them the right way. Charisma drops down to suck Ron’s cock to make sure he’s fully ready as well as rubbing it across her tits before having him eat her pussy. She lays back for him to fuck her missionary style, and finishes things taking Ron’s pop shot on her stomach. Sadly, the mildly amusing banter between Charisma and Ron is the best part of the scene.

Meanwhile, Cortez (Mike Horner) decides to make sure Tuesday (Kim Alexis) has had enough practice. They skip the foreplay, or at least the editor or cameraman did, and go right to Mike fucking Kim’s furry fuckhole missionary style. Kim moves up to ride Mike cowgirl style before sliding down to suck and stroke him until he pops on her great natural tits. It’s an okay scene that gets by on some very good chemistry between Kim and Mike.

Finally, Ona Zee and Deidre Holland, the city business inspector take on Crotch (Jon Dough) the butler. Ona leads the way sucking Jon’s cock, with Deidre helping for a bit and then moving around to eat Ona’s pussy and ass from behind. The girls trade places so they can both get the best of both worlds before Deidre starts riding Jon cowgirl style. Ona takes a turn cowgirl style as well, before letting Jon fuck her from behind while she eats Deidre. Deidre finally comes around back to help Jon pop on Ona’s ass. It’s pretty easily the best scene in the movie. There’s nice energy, great chemistry, and some nice heat. It still isn’t a great scene, but it’s good enough to raise the overall feature’s sex up to at least average quality.

The Maddams Family is a great example of early nineties porn. That isn’t to say it’s a great porno, but it is a great movie to show what early nineties porn was like. The movie is light and fun, and the sex is pretty tame. Mike Horner, Ron Jeremy, and Ona Zee all do a great job parodying Gomez, Uncle Fester, and Morticia, but Jon Dough darn near steals the show with his Lurch parody. The Maddams Family isn’t great porn, but it is a nice little diversion.

Extras: Trailers are included for Heartache, Crazed,Flashpoint, Double Feature!, and Dream Quest. The photo gallery lasts about two minutes with about six seconds per decent looking photo (which look even better when one consideres the age of the feature). There’s also promotional materials, web links, a company profile, and a list of Wicked’s AVN and DVD winners and nominations.

Themes: Straight, lesbian, group, and rimming (female > female)

Raincoat Factor: Medium

Overall: Currently, most of Wicked’s Vintage Editions DVDs can be found online for between $10 ad $25 with a few stores offering it near the low end. At the low end this isn’t too bad of a price. Nothing’s wildly fantastic about the movie or DVD, but it is a fun little diversion. The transfer’s not the best, but isn’t too bad when one considers the age of the feature. There also isn’t much for extras.

Note to Wicked: It’s great to see you finally releasing a low budget line for some of the older titles.
