Synopsis:
Serenity buys a house filled with security cameras and starts an online sex webcam site called Love Shack. The film follows the Love Shack from the initiation to when it becomes a huge success.

Video/Audio:
Love Shack is presented in a full screen aspect ratio, 1.33:1, which appears to be the original aspect ratio for the film. The picture is crystal clear with no artifacts or blemishes present. The color levels are perfectly set. The colors are vibrant with no shadowing or bleeding what-so-ever.

The available audio tracks for the film are a 2.0 English Stereo track and a 2.0 English Commentary track. The 2.0 English Stereo track is well done. The dialog can always be heard at all times. There are no audio effects within the film, but the track suits its intended purpose. No other language tracks and no subtitle options are available.

Chapters/Time Code:
There are nine chapters available from the main menu for Love Shack which provides good navigation through the film and ability to get to each of the sex scenes. There is a time code for this film, so time searching is available.

Special Features:
If you like extras, Wicked has jammed this disc full of them for you, the best thing is many actually have to do with the feature film. First up is All Access - The Making of Love Shack which is an extensive documentary into the making of the film. Box Cover Shoot is a short documentary regarding the making of the film and the box cover shoot. In Interviews there are three short interviews, one with Inari Vachs, Shay Sweet and Jezebelle Bond. All the interviews are mostly fluff pieces regarding the film. Unfortunately, the girl's voices are relatively low, so you have to turn the volume high to hear them. The 2.0 English Commentary track with Red Ezra and Serenity is well done and interesting to listen to. One bad part, Red's voice is really low on the track so you have to crank the volume really high to be able to hear what he says clearly. The two interact will and Red gives much information on how he made the film.

Do you like Photo Galleries? I hope that you do, because Wicked has given you a slew of them! Ten, yes ten, photo galleries in total. First up under the category Photo Galleries is the Behind the Scenes gallery, which contains 26 photos on a track. In the same category is also Movie Gallery, which contains 38 photos on a track. Unfortunately there are quality problems with most of these photos as they all appear grainy. In the category Star Galleries there are galleries for: Serenity, 28 photos on a track; Devinn Lane, 20 photos on a track; Jewel De'Nyle, 13 photos on a track; Jezebelle Bond, 19 photos on a track; Stephanie Swift, 18 photos on a track; Nicole Sheridan, 17 photos on a track; Inari Vachs, 19 photos on a track; Sydnee Steele, 16 photos on a track, Shay Sweet, 18 photos on a track; Olivia Del Rio, 20 photos on a track. The quality of these photos is better than the first two galleries with no grain.

Next up is Promotional Material, which houses the Wicked Adult Convention Reels for 1998 to 2000 and the Essensual Elements Reel. AVN & Wicked DVD Award Winners & Nominations has the AVN awards nomination then winners for Wicked Pictures for 1994 through 2001. Free Speech Coalition is a short advert. Audio Bios are pictures, video, text info, Wicked Filmography and audio info on: Serenity, Devinn Lane, Stephanie Swift, Jewel De'Nyle, Inari Vachs, Sydnee Steele, Shay Sweet, Jezebelle Bond, Brand Armstrong, Mark Davis and Red Ezra. Company Profile is a text/audio feature with a history on Wicked Pictures. And finally, previews have trailers for Flashpoint, Satyr, Vengeance, Working Girl, Knockout, Crazed, Dreamquest and The Bride of Double Feature. Hardcore/Softcore Reversible Cover is a cover where one side has had all the X-rated pictures removed.

One note, on the box an Interview with Sydnee Steele is listed that is not present on the disc, however not listed on the box and present on the disc is the Interview with Jezebelle Bond. I think that the interview with Sydnee Steele was a typo and they meant to put Jezebelle Bond, but figured I would note it here anyway.

DVD-ROM Special Features:
The DVD-ROM extras available on Love Shack are Wicked Web and Wicked Casino. As I don't have a DVD-ROM drive, no further information is available on these extras.

Review:
Love Shack is a nice looking, fun, decent production value film from Wicked Pictures. To start off, Wicked has done a great job with the disc menus. They have been put together to simulate the feel that you are online when watching the film. They help establish a mood before you even start the film.

There is a thin plot to the film, mostly portrayed through a narrative by Serenity regarding the beginning and operations of the Love Shack that goes on in between some of the sex scenes. There is little enough to it that it shouldn't be a bother to anyone who dislikes a plot in their porn. Yet there is enough to the scant plot that it can keep those who like a plot entertained as it holds the sex scenes together.

The cast is great, not only good looking, but do well with their roles as well. The sex is well done as well and fun to watch. Everyone in the film genuinely looks like they are having fun with what they are doing. The sex is nastier than some might be looking for but not as nasty as what some like. It does fall on the nastier side of what Wicked releases with vaginal, anal and oral sex with lesbian and lesbian anal scenes. One unfortunate note, a scene at the end that has great potential with Jezebelle Bond and Shay Sweet never happens. After stripping and caressing each others' bodies, the scene ends, which is a big disappointment as this is shaping up to be the best scene in the film. I hope in the future Red Ezra does a film with these two together again and let them do each other in it.

The film is beautifully filmed with the look of a mainstream film. The sets are nicely designed that add to the mood. There aren't poorly designed aspects that detract from the mood the film creates. The opening credits to the film have a great feel to it as it shows footage of a computer as the camera slowly scans over the keyboard and other parts. Red says in the commentary that he didn't film it that he bought the footage, but it still looks really good.

The Money Shot:
Love Shack is a stylish fun adult film. Although there is a slight plot to it, it shouldn't bother those who dislike a plot at all. The sex is nastier than couples may be looking for, but not nasty enough to please fans of nastier sex. If the film sounds good to you, I suggest renting or purchasing.
