Title: Killer Bodies The Awakening
Studio: Adam & Eve
Director: David Lord
Starring: Tori Black, Alexis Ford, Teagan Presley, Bree Olson, Jessica Jaymes, Raylene, Brooke Lee Adams, Barrett Blade, Randy Spears, Derrick Pierce, Eric Masterson, Chris Johnson, Sascha, Seth Gamble

A 3 disc interactive dvd set, Killer Bodies is a full length feature film with several options to let the viewer decide which scenes they want to follow during the movie. Director David Lord describes it in the extras interview as a "liner-non linear-linear" movie.

The story line is full of intrigue and some violence and kept my attention for the most part. I imagine this must also be on Bluray as the version I watched was on a regular dvd requiring three dvd discs to get all of the material on.

I think it is Bono-one who did a great review of the nuts and bolts of who does what to whom. Rather than repeat that here, I'll give some general impressions. This is the first dvd I've seen where the viewer has options during the movie to select one scene over another. It was fun but I always had to go back to see the scene I missed to see which one I liked better! I think there were about ten sex scenes total in this movie. They are all one on one sex but at least offer some variety...from stair case action to two scenes with a kinda fetish theme with the studs wearing a mask. The actors/actresses were very professional and prove that porn stars can do more than one camera one day shoots!

I liked the Seth Gamble/Jessica Jaymes pairing as they fucked on the staircase. The two options of main character Tori Black's mom or sister getting plowed on mattress on a floor while Tori had to watch were both quite hot.

The extras disc is what especially shined here....almost too much info to wade through! There is about a nine minute blooper reel, monitor loops (not much and not quite sure who would want to see that), casting call (lots of script reading with guys and gals who didn't make the cut), a TWO HOUR BTS package (following the day by day shooting action), interviews with lots of the stars plus an interview with David Lord himself. He said he had wanted to make a movie like this for a long time. It definitely was a movie that took longer than others to develop and shoot. Also available is a director's commentary on the entire movie. I didn't listen to much of that but it is available for a rainy day!

Was it worth it for Lord to go through all of this? In the cluttered world of porn this at least was something new. I'm usually not that interested in lengthy story lines but paid attention to most of this one. The option of choosing one scene over another was fun.

I'm sure to put together the technical side of this dvd it took some work. Unfortunately (at least the disc I had) some of it didn't quite work out right. Two or three of the option buttons (including a bonus scene) kept going back to another section of the movie I had already viewed. I'll chalk that up to a faulty disc as I can't imagine all dvds would have that problem.
