The Little Details

Running Time: 70 min.

Production Date: 1 / 9 / 2007

Director: Josh Welland and Anthony B.

Cast: Brianna Beach, Crissy Cums, and Maxwell Schmart

The Short Story

Initial Expectations: I'm always curious about new instructional releases, and seeing this one dealing with feet I can't help but have a little anticipation as well as a little nervousness.

Initial Reaction: Although it has a few faults, the spirit is one of the best I've seen out there and helps it to be well worth checking out.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody curious about foot play

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting things as clinical as possible

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty average. The audio is clear with a nice balance and I didn't notice any background noises. The video is presented in non-anamorphic widescreen even though the cover lists the feature as being shot in high definition. It's pretty well lit at a natural level, but sometimes gets a tad dark. It's also held back a bit by some limited camera work.

Music: None

Menus: The main menu is okay. It has a few clips with a little animation, but just has a kind of different feeling that made me a touch nervous going in. The chapter menu is okay and lets you choose a scene based on a still and a title.

The Feature

OSK Productions goes a slightly different route with their instructional releases. They don't get clinical, but they also don't just go for all out porn with a little talking. Instead they approach the subject almost as a layman or very experienced hobbyist presenting a loving explanation of the subject before demonstrating the basics as well as several advanced techniques.

Introduction - Crissy Cums and Maxwell Schmart

Auburn tressed Crissy starts the movie out talking about footjobs and the job of feet while painting her toenails. She gives a quick overview in a soft and sexy voice, discussing things like the parts of the foot, foot fetishes, and why girls should like a guy with a foot fetish (such as a guy who will actually be looking forward to going shoe shopping with you). She points out little ways to turn on guys with feet and how to tease with feet. Crissy even gives a little demonstration with her talk, and covers both the good and bad about footjobs until the guy pops on her feet.

This is a very nice introduction along with one main fault. That fault is the camera work, as it's a bit limited. When Crissy's trying to cover the parts of the feet she's pointing around her foot to illustrate it, but the camera just stays fixed on it from above and never moves around to give you a clear view of where she's pointing. Beyond that, this is a great introduction to foot play. Crissy does a fantastic job of making it feel sexy rather than something freaky, and even makes it seem like something women should look forward to or seek out in a man. She gives some nice tips for foot play, and does an excellent job talking about it. Although the camera work is a little weak, Crissy does a great job introducing foot play.

Advanced Techniques – Brianna Beach and Maxwell Schmart

Brunette Brianna takes over for the advanced techniques. She talks about getting hers too with foot massages to start things off as Maxwell gives her a foot massage with some scented oils and creams. She also talks about the importance of lubes, which sadly comes off more like a commercial for the product they use in the movie than anything. Most importantly, Brianna talks about several different methods with the scene cutting back and forth between her describing the methods on a couch and performing them with the help of Maxwell. She works through techniques such as “Hand Solo and Chodabacca”, “Corn on the Bob”, and yes, even the “Prostate Footsage”.

This is another very nice segment. Brianna limits it a little by looking like she's reading cue cards that are across the room, but does get into the subject nicely as it goes on. The bigger problem is the camera work, as it's all shot very close. It's never so far away that you can see one or both feet as well as the cock, and instead gets so close that many times you can just see two or three toes and the head of the cock. The other problem is the authoring, as there are barely any chapter breaks. I'm guessing there's fifteen to twenty different methods shown here, and they're all on one chapter so anybody going through this release after trying it out again has to scan through the entire segment rather than just being able to skip methods they're already tried. This is a good segment with a lot of knowledge, but a couple minor changes would have made it a great section instead.

How to Perform a Footjob is a very impressive instructional release. It does a wonderful job approaching the subject with a feeling of enjoyment rather than freakiness and shows plenty of techniques for beginners up to experienced foot freaks. Both Crissy and Brianna look like they enjoy foot play, which really helps out the release, and divide up duties nicely between introducing it and showing advanced techniques. The only thing that really holds the release back is the camera work, which often has some odd angles and frequently gets way too close. If you're curious about foot play, How to Perform a Footjob is a great release to check out.

The Extra Stuff

Trailers are included for Black Velvet, Black Velvet: Vegas, How to Perform Cock & Ball Torture, How to Perform Rope Bondage, Tortia, Black Velvet: Keeps on Rollin, LA Erotica, Sexy Girl, All the Way, and Hearesexxx. The photo gallery lasts about eight and a half minutes with ten seconds per decent looking screen capture.

The Down -n- Dirty Sex Stuff

Themes: Straight, instructional, feet, and tease

Raincoat Factor: Medium high

Condom Usage: None needed

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of OSK Productions' DVDs can be found online for between about $15 and $18. If the subject interests you here, this is a great release to pick up. It makes the subject fun while also giving plenty of techniques to try. There isn't much for extras, but the technical aspects make it past the average mark. This is a nicely done DVD.

Note to OSK Productions: You do a great job showing how the subject can be fun as well as demonstrating plenty of techniques. It's not quite the most accessible for repeat viewing, however, as you have all the advanced techniques on one chapter. A separate chapter for each technique would be a great way for people to check out the movie with repeat viewings so they could skip past things they've tried. You might also want to consider putting in a full sex scene with a major emphasis on feet. Let the girls show off some techniques in a full fun setting rather than just showing clips here and there.
