"Easy" is a Golden Classic release by NuTech of a movie first released on film in 1979. The first thing that piqued my interest about this title was the prominent placement on the case saying all sex scenes are multiple angle. I was interested in where they found the extra footage and hoped this would be explained in the commentary. When the alternate angle icon showed up on the screen, I switched angles, to find that the "multiple angle" was merely the film reversed. There is no extra footage, and reversing the film has an interesting side effect, the lips don't match the voice. Throughout the rest of the movie, the angle icon becomes a constant reminder of the wool the studio tried to pull over the eyes of the viewers.

Getting more into the action of the movie, this seems typical of 1970s porn and reminds me of Insatiable, another classic movie. Considering this is a film transfer, the video is surprisingly clear with good color reproduction. There are some visable flaws, but this look to be from the original film media, and not a side effect of being transfered. Likewise, the audio is clear and maintains a consistent volume level throughout.

This stars Jessie St. James as Kate, one of the premiere porn stars from that era. I personally thought she was average looking, neither beautiful nor ugly. She is "natural", which isn't seen much in modern porn. By this, I mean her breasts are unmodified, and her pubic hair isn't shaved. While not as clean looking as modern porn, it is more realistic, a refreshing change.

I counted eight scenes in this feature, all of which were full of sexual power and performed quite well. During the woman on woman scene, Jessie has a very convincing orgasm. While Jessie St. James appears in most of the scenes, there are two other couples shown during the dinner party scene. The women are fair looking, with a bit more packaging up top. Most of the guys had a typical 70's look to them. The plot of this movie follows Kate, starting out as a school teacher who is seduced by one of her students. This seems a bit forceful, but isn't violent. She is then "seduced" by an ex-student at knife-point. Borderline rape, but again, there is no violence. This awakens her sexual side, so she quits her job and moves.

From here, the plot is a bit hard to follow, it seems fragmented and unexplained. I learned from the commentary track that this feature has been cut, but they don't explain why. I suspect it is due to the original film being too damaged to make a decent transfer, but that is only a suspicion.

All in all, I felt this was a good feature, and was pleasantly surprised by some of the scenes which I did not expect. For example, there is ass licking/sucking, a cat fight, Jessie fingering some guy's ass with butter coated fingers. You just don't see these kinds of things in modern porn. If you are looking for a good movie which did a good job of capturing the sexual freedom and boldness of the 70's sex attitude, pick this one up.
