This is a compilation of scenes from other Dreamland titles available on VHS. The first and last scenes are from "Booty Squad" and feature India and Xtacee, in that order. I did not recognize the others.
As a huge fan of India seeking to complete my DVD collection of her works, I appreciate Dreamland's putting her scene from "Booty Squad" on this title, however I cannot recommend this DVD to anyone, as the production values are just awful.
I went back and reviewed India's and Xtacee's scenes from "Booty Squad" for comparison and discovered that while the audio was almost as bad on the VHS (there's a noticeable hum in the background), the video was acceptable and the actresses looked pretty good. Unfortunately that can't be said for the DVD. The flesh tones that look so good on the cover are washed out and unattractive in the DVD.
Notes to Dreamland - whoever did the transfer, never use them again! Also, there's no better way to tick off your customer than to set expectations with your cover art that you don't meet in the DVD!
While the transfer company may be to blame for the look of the DVD, only Dreamland can be blamed for the 10 and a half minutes that were cut from the beginning of India's scene, even though there appeared to be plenty of time on the DVD to include it. For those of you who haven't seen "Booty Squad," I should note that Dreamland had already done considerable splicing/looping in putting India and Mark's scene together for the VHS. Whatever continuity existed there was destroyed by the additional cutting done in the transfer.
Furthermore, Dreamland is at fault for not adding any DVD extras to this release, unless you call commercials extras. Fortunately these can be skipped, but one wonders where these people have been that they consider a DVD complete that includes absolutely nothing else - no gallery, no credits, no cast bios; nothing!
So; it's nice that Dreamland has discovered the DVD but they cannot expect to compete in the marketplace without making vast improvements to their product. Let's just hope they read this and take it to heart.
