Review:
“The Alibi” is a very good, plot-driven feature from Wicked Pictures that stars the ever-popular contract star—jessica drake—in an adultery-soaked murder mystery. Benefiting greatly from the acting talents of the performers and also the ultra-realistic settings that are employed, the storyline is quite strong and well-conveyed in this production. Further, the sex is interwoven in quite well and thus serves as a fine complement to the plot-based elements—and vice versa.

In terms of the sex, jessica takes the lead (and the meat) in three of the movie’s five scenes. Her sequences are all of the boy-girl, vaginal-only variety and include romps with Eric Masterson (her lover; very good; Scene One), Randy Spears (a detective; excellent; Scene Three), and Brad Armstrong (her other lover; excellent; Scene Five). The segment with Eric takes place in an office on a desk, while that with Randy occurs in her home gym—the seduction here by jessica makes for a scorching setup to the action, by the way. Finally, her encounter with Brad takes place on a couch in what appears to be an apartment or hotel room. In all of the sequences, jessica receives a facial cum-shot to close out the festivities, and—as a curiosity—she tends to keep her top on for a good portion of her scenes (not as much in the final one as the first two, however). It’s hard to really pull out highlights because everything is great, but every time she does cowgirl or reverse-cowgirl, it’s difficult not to pay attention. Further, her sensual oral skills with Brad in their scene together are not to be missed, either. All in all, Ms. Drake once again proves why she is so popular and a true star in the adult film industry.

Also turning in solid work are the other two female performers in the production—Raylene (Brad’s wife and jessica’s deceased husband’s mistress) and Veronica Rayne (another detective). In Raylene's flashback romp with Tommy Gunn (jessica’s deceased husband), the 69 action is fairly hot, as is the side-entry positioning (good; Scene Two). Veronica has a sensual encounter with Tony De Sergio (her own husband)—shocking!—that includes some sexy side-entry and reverse-cowgirl work (very good; Scene Four). Both of these sequences conclude in facial money-shots, as well.

In terms of bonus materials and other options, there are two previews that play when the DVD is inserted, there is a selection that plays the preview for this production in the Main Menu, and there is a choice of six previews under the “Trailers” option in the “Special Features”—that’s a lot of trailers, friends! There is also a “Behind the Scenes…” segment that is of decent length and is also interesting to watch. Further, there is a “Photo Gallery” that puts forth a slideshow of “pretty girl” shots and stills from the production, and there is a “Promo Reel” that serves as a short, glamorous introduction to the Wicked contract girls. One finds phone sex ads and the like under “More Adult Fun”, and there is a bonus scene in the “Special Features”, as well. This is a jessica drake blowjob sequence that includes jessica masturbating (with insertion) both vaginally and anally with a feather duster and also blowing Tommy Gunn (from the production, “Wicked Games”). Oddly enough, this lasts only about 5 minutes and doesn’t come to a full conclusion (?).

All in all, this disc—which clocks in at about 1.5 hours—is a very good one and worthy of a watch. This is particularly true for fans of Ms. drake and / or plot-driven features involving strong acting. It should be noted, however, that fans of pure gonzo will likely be disappointed. So…if you fit the criteria…pick this one up!
