Corey Summers, Ettore Tosi, Andrea Albani, Marco Ramazzotti and Frederico Bulsara. Introducing Francesco Maldini, Gennaro Grimaldi, Luca Ferri, Fabio De' Rossi.
Directed by Lucas Kazan.

Watching this one, I often felt that I was camping: my dick kept trying to pitch a tent in my pants! The photography is stunning, a quality I've come to expect from Lucas Kazan; but this time he has outdone himself with his choice of models against the wonders of Mother Nature. Thanks to the disc's Special Features, each and every one of the models are highly identifiable through a series of nine screens giving out vital - and I do mean VITAL statistics - for each of Kazan's boys. It turns out that two of the models are actually bakers! If their baking skills are as hot as their sexual proclivities, honey, I can't wait to sample their canoli. A five-minute slide show features a chosable "Director's Commentary," which also adds some informative anecdotes about the making of ACROSS THE OCEAN, as well as erotically charged photos from this film, as well as Kazan's follow-up, AMERICAN HOLIDAYS. I nearly enjoyed the disc's "Behind the Scenes" featurette as much as I did the film. This feature runs about seven minutes and contains subtitled talking head interviews with most of the cast in addition to its very backstage clips. For those with a yen for men urinating, there are several great shots featuring steady streams of piss from at least three of the guys, one being cover boy Ettore Tosi. Refreshingly enough, the featurette's photography is on the same standard as the film itself. The disc's bonus features are rounded out with the somewhat short trailers for Kazan's HOTEL ITALIA and AMERICAN HOLIDAYS. But these features are merely the icing on the confectionery delight, the cake, so to speak.

The first of the twelve chapters takes us to the dunes of the inappropriately named, Death Valley, California. Ettore Tosi and Francesco Maldini meet up for a dreamy sequence and engage in a little one-on-one action that leads to one of the most realistically acheived orgasms ever put on film. The naked flesh against the rippled sand dunes create quite a constrast. Tosi's furry torso, finely chiseled, also constrasts well with his partner's sleek, smooth body. Meanwhile, back in Italy - two chums are rollicking through some photogenic ruins. This rumpus leads to, what else, a little bit of Italian-styled nookie. Luca Ferri gives Gennaro Grimaldi the kind of blowjob I wouldn't mind being on the receiving end of, and as a reward for such great oral activity, Grimaldi fucks his bubble-butt TWICE! The only problem with the scene is that Ferri is constantly playing to the camera, instead of to his partner, and he has a distracting mark on the left side of his ample dick, but his tattoos are well-placed, and oh, what suckable nipples he has! It's a shame that Grimaldi doesn't give those pink nips the same workout he gives to that ass. The fertile environment nearly steals the next scene away from the stunning models Marco Ramazotti and Andrea Albani. An idyllic hand job on a seaside rocky slope leads to lust among the ruins, as Albani strokes the muscular Ramazotti before getting his just deserts when Ramazotti tops him on some ancient ruins. Though brief, this scene is a highlight of the disc. Tentative kissing leading to deep, heavy soul kisses, and photographed at all the right angles. Ramazotti is an excellent top, and both guys are quite vocal, albeit in Italian, about how good the fuck feels. Amid some other spectacular ruins, Fabio De' Rossi tells us via subtitles of his lust for Gennaro. This leads to a bit of denim-pressing hardons before the guys engage in the deed. Fabio curves his body, twisting tighter than a French pastry, as Gennaro fucks him long and hard (in all senses of those words). And gorgeous Frederico Maldini stands guard, dick in hand, dousing the countryside with a stream of creamy frosting. With this scene, the oven has most definitely reached proper temperature. The film closes with a Corey Summers (the only uncut man) and Ettore Tosi. We're back in the United States, where following a brief tour of Los Angeles, the guys get it on poolside. Ettore gets harder and lasts longer than he did in the first scene, and Summers makes for a very good bottom. The lush verdant scenery of Italy is sorely missed; though Tosi does have a forest on his well-developed chest. This final fuck is a fitting finale to a highly enjoyable cinematic experience.

Beautiful photography, nine bodacious bodies - Marco Ramazotti can cum and visit me anytime; he riminds me of a walking, talking version of a certain well-known Italian's most famous statue. The sex itself never gets too adventurous, but with guys who look the way these guys do and the inspiriational locations, it hardly matters. The music, for the most part, relies on classical pieces, so when a driving techno-beat accompanies the Fabio and Gennaro scene, it's a welcome change of pace.

I cannot recommend this dvd highly enough - it's a rich, filling desert served up with style and flair.
