I looked for these very qualities when viewing THE VIRTUAL REALITY STIMULATOR (2010, Juicy Entertainment) that came with a few pair of glasses for this short gonzo/interactive disc that utilizes the 3D technology. Sorry to report that it's more miss than hit as this DVD plays like a substandard gonzo disc with an occasional 3D effect to make you go "oooooooooo" or " coooooooool" or whatever.
An 11 minute blow job with Rachel Roxxx and Eric John---A pretty weak opening, some okay depth of field shots but nothing really jumps out ya, pardon the pun. (Unless a few moments of elbows sticking out count)---! 1/2
After about 4 minutes of weak story elements, Sarah Vandella and Pike Nelson put on their Virtual Reality Stimulator glasses and that's the cue to put on the 3D glasses for what amounts to about 53 minutes of 3D stuff with this duo plus Capri Cavalli joining them later in the scene---Mostly weak 3D effects. The best 3D shots are of the depth of field variety with a fireplace and stone wall in the background while the duo do their thing on the bed in the foreground. Capri's knees do a bit of poking out in some 69 and mish position but when Sarah returns to make it a threeway, the effects are weak again---!!
This 36 minute scene begins in interactive fashion until Eric John lands in the sack and joins Rachel Roxxx. Some of the better "coming at ya" type effects occur because Rachel's legs end up in the air and extended towards the frame during some straight sex positions. She looks incredible in reverse cowgirl with her hands planted on Eric's chest and her body extended then she turns her body towards the camera to twist into cowgirl and that looks great. However, in cowgirl, she leans forward away from the camera, which looks weak. Her knee sticks out during some side mishing so that scores more 3D brownie points---!! 1/2
Rachel's scenes are here in 2D so you can watch them without the glasses but it's the same stuff. Rachel and Capri each perform a minute pole dance that's too brief and rather weak in 3D. No extended leg (or arm) for 3D effect here so an opportunity wasted. The music that I heard sounded lame so why bother with the 12 song music soundtrack?
So, THE VIRTUAL REALITY STIMLATOR (2010, Juicy Entertainment) claims that the replay value of this 3D disc is "insane" and that "this will become an instant favorite you will return to time and again." Nah. This disc plays like an experimental exercise that you look at, observe what works and what doesn't, then use what works for the real project. So, if there's a VIRTUAL REALITY STIMULATOR 2, maybe they'll have something if the director keeps his shots wide enough so that agile and limber performers can play to the camera by using their arms and legs in a very animated way within the shot. Final rating is !! outta !!!!!
