Slick Honey reviews:

Synopsis Ah the old days, bad acting and big bush, lol. This one's a comedy, with a running joke that involved private eye, Marc Wallice being the only one who thinks its raining, sticks his head outside his office and gets a bucket of water to the face. The plot device is Marc spying on Rachel Ashley's hubby, Mike Horner, to see if he's having an affair. Turns out that both Ashley & Horner are just voyeurs who love to masturbate while watching others masturbate. Ah love. The Cast Unquestionably the selling point. Selena Steele is stunningly hot. Charli, no, not the mid 90s one, is here in a RARE dvd... I think iv'e only seen her in ' Star 90' too. Anyhow, she's smokin' hot. Rachel Ashley. MILF. Sexy milf, with big brestesses. Nice. You blond lovers will enjoy all natural Sascha Strange. Long curly blond hair, suprisingly w/out implants. Cool. The Sex Umm, not all that remarkable.

Pillowman reviews:
review on

"The Pillowman" marked the first John Leslie feature in which he, himself, did not appear. By not appearing, he proved that he was just as good of a director as an actor, and also that he could get out of other actors, performances almost as good as his own. The story concerns a man who goes by the name of the "Pillowman". As played by Peter North, he is "cocky", confused, and somewhat dumb, but also very likable. As the movie opens, he is searching a house for valuables. He gets caught by the resident (Chanel Price), who orders him to pull his pants down. In seconds, she turns his soft cock into a rock hard one. This then leads to an armchair fuck with the usual cum blast from North. Possibly the best scene of the movie. The plot is kind of confusing at times, but Peter is trying to get a list of women's phone numbers. Every women he gets involved with ends up becoming a fiasco, just after he invites them out to "Chinese food and ice cream".

Initial Reaction: Its great gonzo porn with a nice little twist. Who Should Watch It : Fans of Buttman and other great gonzo porn, fans of anal sex. Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who likes a lot of plot or tame, pretty porno. Audio /Video Quality: Neither the audio or video are close to perfect. You hear some background noises and the video is plagued by uneven lighting.

Fresh Meat 1: A Ghost Story reviews:
review on

Running Time: 97 min. Production Date: Director: John Leslie (who also wrote and produced) Cast: Krysti Lynn, Eva Flowers, Jenteal, Felicia, Kirsty Waay, Annabelle Dayne, Joey Silvera, Ron Jeremy, Jon Dough, Marc Wallice, Mr. Marcus, Tom Byron, Tony Tedeschi, Kevin Patrick, Julian St. Jox, Damien Michaels, Steve Austin, Jamie Gillis, Tom Chapman, Cosmo, Rick Masters, and J. Scott Initial Expectations: I didnt really know what to expect as this was the first of John Leslies Evil Angel movies. The idea of an adult ghost story seemed like it would have a lot of potential and could be a lot of fun. The only thing I really expected was that it would be very well made. Initial Reaction: Its well made, but Im not sure if I liked it or not. Audio /Video Quality: The video is very good for the age of the movie. Most of the movie is in color, but some spots are done in grainy black and white. The audio doesnt always match the video, but it isnt meant to in a lot of spots. Music: Theres only music in a few of the scenes.

Playin' Dirty reviews:
review on

John Leslie's "Playin' Dirty", which was part of his transition into smaller, more entertaining movies tells the story of Lloyd Dixon (Ron Jeremy), who embezzles $7 million out of his boss (Jamie Gillis). Lloyd is in cahoots with a young woman (Renee Morgan), who also does oral favors for the boss. Jeremy and Morgan are also having an affair and they plan to leave together as soon as the money comes through. Gillis also is the leader of a bike gang (Schwinns, not Harley's)whose members include Joey Silvera, Tom Byron, Heather Torrence, Marc Wallice, Sasha, and the delightfully yummy Selena Steele. Gillis finds out that Lloyd is trying to rob him, and in turns kidnaps Lloyd's wife (Rachel Ashley) as a ransom. This, however, doesn't disturb Lloyd one bit, who despises his wife with a passion. But, however, when Renee pays the gang a visit and gives away her necklace (in which Lloyd hid the combination for the bank vault) in return for information, they are sent on a mission full of erotic and funny delights.

review on

"Goin' Down Slow", John Leslie's second directorial effort after "Nightshift Nurses" is a very different kind of adult film. It has a huge emphasis on storyline and style, rather than sex, which at times makes some of the sexual scenarios seem pointless or uninteresting. The plot itself is amazing: Ironic, full of twists and turns, and unpredictable. It is the porn equivalent of a Hitchcock movie. Ona Z plays a lonely woman who likes to watch her neighbor Ellen's (Shanna McCullough) daily trysts with lover George Anton (John Leslie). Ona's in love with George and thinks that he should be hers. Ellen is married to Martin (Robert Bullock), an advice columnist who goes under the name "Madame Rona". George is Martin's boss. Kathleen Gentry plays Martin's secretary and Joey Silvera plays a photography. Later, when a murder is committed, all of these characters come into play. What happens, I will not say, but I will say that John Leslie makes no easy assumptions. There are a fair amount of sex scenes, but none of them are very long or memorable.

The Rehearsal Everyone's wondered what it would be like to put together an X-rated feature...especially a John Leslie production. Now, Leslie himself takes you behind the scenes to prove once and for all that practice makes perfect. Join an all-star cast of the hottest talent for this hilariously erotic expose! Making an adult video isn't easy...but it sure is fun! Opens with John Leslie and Jamie Gillis watching a woman named Carmen on a monitor Rocco Siffredi & Cody O'Conner Average scene intercutting with shots of the cast at a table looking bored, reading the script, smoking and poor Tom Byron picking his fingernails. Rocco sure likes a butt in his face. Sex on a sidetable and then on a couch. Rocco blows on Cody's face. Hmmm why does an Italian got a character name like Julio Script reading and some inane banter at the table to pad out this film Tom Byron, Traci Prince & Brittany O'Connell Brittany sits on Traci's face while giving oral to Tom. Tom enters Traci.

Catwoman, The reviews:
review on

John Leslie's "The Catwoman", which marks one of his last, if not the last, of his sex roles is a moody, charged, and very erotic masterpiece that helped establish his directorial style. Kathleen Gentry stars as Jennifer, a photographer who is having problems with her boyfriend Stefan (played by Joey Silvera). While she is walking home from work, she has the feeling that she is being followed. She literally bumps into a stranger (Leslie), who invites her for a drink. As they talk, hints of sexuality echo out of their conversation. He offers to call her a cab, but instead she offers to walk him home. When they get inside Leslie's home, they get it on as soon as you can say "Bingo". This sex scene is especially charged and ranks as one of the all-time best, in my opinion. He rips off her clothes and passionately starts licking her body as she gives him an equally ferocious blowjob. They then start to fuck, with the two of them getting so much into it, that you can see Gentry's scratchmarks on his back.

Chameleon, The reviews:
review on

John Leslie's "The Chameleon", which many, including this reviewer, consider his masterpiece, begins with a soothing blues ditty by Bill Reid as the credits go up. We then open with a woman named Diana (Tori Welles) talking to her psychiatrist (Richard Pacheco). It appears that she has sexual problems, although they're not what you would probably imagine. It turns out that Diana's a "chameleon". If you don't know what I mean, just read ahead and you soon will. We then cut into a sizzling sex scene with a woman (April West) taking on two guys (Scott Irish, Axel Horn). After they are finished, the woman goes to the bathroom, where she turns into Diana! She has the ability to change her identities, which she takes to her full advantage. This is much to the chagrin of her boyfriend Marc (Tom Byron), for whom sex is a much more meaningful experience.

The ChameleonAn Official Selection of the Goldmember Masterpiece Collection What is the Masterpiece Collection? I suppose it is my personal pornography Hall of Fame. It is only for those select films that I consider to be at the very pinnacle of the industry. This is an honor reserved only for films that I believe will stand the test of time. The Chameleon - The Details Studio - VCA Director - John Leslie Female Cast - Tori Welles, Victoria Paris, Selena Steele, Debi Diamond, April West, Rose, Pamela, Lynn Francis Male Cast - Peter North, Tom Byron, Buck Adams, Joey Silvera, Axel Horn, Scott Irish, Ray Victory Running Time - 1 hours 15min (approx) Overall Impression This is a true classic! This 1989 film stands the test of time better than I would have ever imagined considering the last time I viewed this masterpiece was over a decade ago. Sure this is a rather bare bones transfer from video to DVD, but the feature is just so well done that I could not resist giving this walk down memory lane a five star score. This film may very well be Tori's best.

* DIRECTOR: John Leslie. * DURATION: »85mins. * STARRING: April West, Debi Diamond, Lynn Francis, Pamela Rose, Selena Steele, Tori Welles & Victoria Paris. The Chameleon is a 1989 porn classic directed by John Leslie and starring the insatiable Tori Welles. I have it on loan from a friend considerably more versed in 80s pornography than myself, but was still quite interested to see it. Unlike other classics Ive reviewed, this one actually turned out OK and succeeded in stimulating body and brain with its eroticism. Definitely a good choice for couples if they can get past the funky hairstyles. Hairstyles aside, the women were natural-looking the only departure from that department being Toris breasts (which were still a sight to behold). The sex wasnt as hot as contemporary offerings but the eroticism was right up there, and there were merits for this film in not just being about inter-genital reciprocation. Tori really carries the day with her performances and voracious appetite.

Nightshift Nurses (VCA) reviews:
review on

"Nightshift Nurses", the directorial debut of perhaps the best actor to ever work in adult, John Leslie, not only is a scorcher when it comes to the sex, but also makes great use of comedy, blues music, and filmmaking styles that Leslie would later use in the "Chameleon" and "Catwoman" movies. The film takes place during one night in a hospital. Lois Ayres plays the senior nurse who heads the other nurses, played by Bionca, Keisha, Sheena Horne, and Lynn Francis. John Leslie plays Dr. Grow, an insomniac who hates his job and would really like to be a professional harmonica player. Joey Silvera is an everyman who goes by the name of Idaho Moe and in his spare time pretends that he's a doctor. Peter North, Josey Duval, and D.J. Cone play various patients and Siobhan Hunter is a "sister" who is waiting for her brother to come out of surgery. One more character worth mentioning would be the black janitor, played by Steve Hennessy. While mopping a hallway, he overhears moans and goes into the room to investigate.
