Talk Dirty to Me 1 (Dreamland) reviews:

Cast: Jesie St. James, Shirley Woods (aka Sharon Kane), Juliet Anderson, Cris Cassidy, John Leslie, Richard Pacheco and Aaron Stuart in sex roles; Dorothy LeMay, Holly McCall, Anthony Spinelli and Carl Regal in non-sex roles. Director: Anthony Spinelli Production date: 1979 in end credits; original release date of 1980 according to IAFD; DVD production date of 6/5/01 on box cover. Length: 80 min. Extras: Diesel's review at AdultDVDEmpire.com reports that the DVD includes a gallery of random freeze-framed stills. I am unable to view it on my copy, however. The only other "extras" are ads. Audio/visual quality: Print quality is very rough for first few minutes. Fortunately, the worst flickering subsides before the sex begins. The presence of blemishes, artifacts and video noise is probably acceptable given the age of the movie. The camerawork and editing are quite nicemuch less choppy than a few of the other classics I've seen. The emphasis falls on medium-length shots, with pleasing pans between faces and genitals.

Year of Release: 1980 Writer/Director: Wes Brown (aka Anthony Spinelli) Producer: Arthur Cutter Cinematographer: Jack Post DVD Runtime: 78 min. 43 sec. Actors Juliet Anderson.......Aunt Peg Norton John Holmes...........John Jamie Gillis.............Franco Serena...................Susan Michael Ranger.......Michael Ranger Michael Morrison.....Jack (Sheilas father) Seka..........................Seka Shirley Woods (aka Sharon Kane)....Sheila Dotty Hart Review Right after the credits finish, we are thrust into a sex scene with a naked John Holmes (once again playing a character aptly named 'John') lying next to a brunette named Pam. John rolls over to her and as things look like they are ready to take off, we hear, "Cut!" It's a film set loaded with lights, cameras and crew. Producer Peg Norton (Juliet Anderson) calls a break for lunch and the set clears. John tells Pam to hang back because he needs to talk to her, and before you know it they are fucking...er, I mean rehearsing.

Nothing To Hide (NuTech) reviews:
review on

Although not the best movie of the era, Nothing To Hide may well be the quintessential Golden Age Classic. If youve ever wanted to know what separates the Golden Age movies from contemporary classics then look no further. The movie revolves around the relationship between Jack (John Leslie) and his slow witted/ retarded buddy, Lenny (Richard Pacheco). Jack is a smooth talking ladies man who effortlessly moves from one conquest to the next. Lenny, on the other hand, has no luck with the ladies - despite Jacks constant promises to set him up. However, when Lenny falls for a similarly awkward girl Jack has to face the prospect of life without his buddy. If your exposure to porn is limited to contemporary product either feature or gonzo this is going to be quite a change of pace. Even the narrative driven couples porn of today is a fair distance from movies such as this. For a start the sex scenes are far shorter than would be acceptable today (which, from a story telling perspective at least, is no bad thing).

Director: Anthony Spinelli Writer: Michael Ellis Videographer: Jack Remy Running length: 97 minutes D.O.P. 1981 Female cast: Chelsea Manchester, Erica Boyer, Tigr, Misty Regan, Holly McCall, Liz Randolph, Raven Turner, Pat Manning Male cast: John Leslie, Richard Pacheco, Eric Stein, Anthony Spinelli Audio/Video: For being over 20 years old, the picture isn't bad at all. The audio suffers in just a few places, making the voices somewhat muffled, but in general it was very watchable. Much of it was filmed outdoors, yet wind noise was minimal. Extras: None Condoms: One, Richard Pacheco's scene The Movie: I liked Justine: Nothing To Hide 2 so well, I thought I'd check out the original that started the series. Come to find out, there's absolutely nothing that ties them together, and NTH #1 is actually the sequel to another classic, Talk Dirty To Me. Sounds confusing, but you need not see one to appreciate the other. I've seen very few of the 'classics' of porn, but I'm starting to appreciate them more.
