Teenage Cruisers (Raunchy Tonk) reviews:

Teenage Cruisers is an oddball of a film. It tries very hard to be a rockabilly nostalgia film, but ultimately is a failure. Faked cum shots, loops inserted into the story, missed comedy, and a general failure of a direction for the film pull it down. Raunchy Tonk has made some poor mistakes with the presentation of the film, utilizing a video master, altering the credits, and making the disc non-anamorphic widescreen. Raunchy Tonk did go all the way on the special features for the disc.

When non-X Rated filmmakers/personalities get involved in hardcore films, the results are more than often strange, if not somewhat tedious. But here, rockabilly personality and general cult icon Johnny Legend's underground hit Teenage Cruisers is a happy exception to the rule. Let's hope this DVD is as good as the film itself.

Pleasure Island (Alpha Blue) reviews:

Pleasure Island is a poorly done one day wonder that fails at the sex and the story leaving the viewer wondering what the producers were thinking when they put this into the cinemas. Alpha Blue Archives has done a poor job with the release using a video master.

Dracula Exotica (TVX) reviews:

Dracula Exotica is a fun film from the beginning of the eighties. It combines a fun original story, with nicely done sex scenes, great locations, and some light comedy to create a film that is definitely worth checking out. The release from TVX Home Video is sadly very poor and is not worth picking up.

Teenage Cruisers (VCX) reviews:

It's just another wacky day and tacky night in a sex-crazed, 1970's American city in "Teenage Cruisers", an overall-good, oddball release from director Johnny Legend ("The Rockabilly Rasputin") and VCX. Featuring an escaped, havoc-wreaking nymphomaniac (Christine DeShaffer), a pair of horny young women (Lynne Margulies and Serena) cruising around town in search of a just-back-from-'Nam boyfriend, and more comedic, kink-bent Americana than you can shake your dick at, this flick is certainly a trip (...albeit a trippy one...) down memory lane.

Faked cum shots, loops inserted into the story, missed comedy, and a general failure of a direction for the film pull it down. VCX hasn't attempted to do much with the release with a presentation that manages to be acceptable and no extras at all.
